Guidelines

The National Eye Research Centre will be inviting grant applications for PhD studentships and Project grants  for 2010 and applications should be received by Friday 15 January 2010.

As a guide applicants are advised that:

• Applications for grants of more than three years' duration will not be considered
• Grants for PhD Studentships are for a three-year period and up to £60,000 where student stipend is in accordance with MRC guidelines and cross reference their website
• Applications will be considered in open competition for both PhD Studentships and Project Grants up to £60,000 over 3 years.  Awards will be subject to peer review and the availability of funds.

Applications will be reviewed by external referees and discussed by our Scientific Advisory Committee at the beginning of April of each year.
